Lowcountry Lighthouse

Lowcountry Lighthouse is a volunteer-organized, grassroots effort to provide food and heat to hungry and cold citizens of Charleston, SC and the surrounding tricounty area. We donate warm blankets and hot meals to underfed and underhoused people throughout the winter months. We also offer free rides and Christmas trees when resources allow.

We collect donations and distribute from October 15 until February 15 every year. If you need help or would like to donate, contact us to request a dropoff/pickup or come to one of our prescheduled Ports of Call.

No questions asked. You do not have to be homeless to request help. You do not have to show ID or proof of need.

We were founded in 2023 by a small group of concerned citizens who also struggle. Helping others makes us feel better about being poor. Please contact us if you need help or want to join our cause.
